The South Athletic Campus at Thayer Academy features four high quality soccer fields, all synthetic.  It is not located on the Thayer Academy campus, rather, it’s down Washington St. in an industrial complex.  Due to the synthetic surface, we are virtually weather proof!  That is one reason the cost of the tournament is higher than some others (larger rental costs).  Provided we have no significant electrical storms, the tournament will be played!

Thayer Academy South Athletic Campus

From Rt. 3 (heading South toward Cape Cod)

Take exit 17.  Take the first right off the ramp - Union St.  Go thru the traffic light up the hill to the 2nd light take a left onto Washington St. Stay on Washington St thru 4 lights, (at 3rd light Washington becomes Hancock St) at the 4th light stay straight this is now Rt. 37 south. 1/2 mile after the light, on the right is the South Braintree Office Park (sign is green), take that entrance, the fields and parking are on the left. Total trip on Washington and Hancock St is 1 3/10 miles.

 

OR FROM ROUTE 128/95/93

 

Take Exit 6 (Rte. 37, Braintree, Holbrook). At end of ramp keep right, South Shore Plaza will be on your left and Sheraton Tara will be on your right. Go 9/10 of a mile to Braintree Five Corners intersection, there will be a set of lights, Go straight across the intersection to Franklin street (which is a continuation of Rte. 37 South) Jimbo’s South will be on your left and Bertucci's will be on your right. Continue down Route 37 approx 1.5 miles through four sets of lights. At the 4th light (on your left will be a Dunkin Donuts) Rt. 37 turns to the right take that right and 1/2 mile after the light, on the right will be the South Braintree Office Park (sign is green), take that entrance, fields and parking on the left.
